Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Worship and Creative Arts Department. The WACA department is a department of influence within our church. It has the potential of reaching not only the people within the church but also many within the community around us. For most people that come through our doors, this is their first impression of our church. WACA is a department that is unique in that it has the call of influencing a broad range of ages found within the church.

 Whilst involved in this group you will have the opportunity to;

• Get to know others with the same passions who are involved in music and worship.
• Utilize the gifts and experiences God has provided to you for the extension of the kingdom.
• Encourage others to work on their own gifting
• Draw close to God through the worship of the group and therefore provide an avenue for others within the church to draw close to Him.

 In the worship and creative arts department, the most vital component required by all is service. Jesus himself was the best example of this when he discussed a serving heart to the disciples; “whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

 We have various areas that you may like to get involved in, band, vocals, drama or design. If you are interested, come along to a Wednesday night rehearsal and introduce yourself to one of the leaders, or alternatively you can talk to myself at church.

Wednesday night rehearsal Structure:

First Wednesday of the month	Vision Night (Practical based for entire team, including choir)
Second Wednesday of the month	Band rehearsal for those rostered on that Sunday
Third Wednesday of the month	Vision Night (Spiritual based for entire team)
Fourth and Fifth Wednesday	Band rehearsal for those rostered on that Sunday
