Rev kids
Revolution Kids Department - equipping the younger generation to impact the world for Christ 24/7. RevKids is a high impact fun-filled department of Albany Hills Christian Church that runs from 9am - 10.15am each Sunday. For security purposes, children are required to be signed in and out by their parents and visitors will receive a visitors ID number and lanyard. Should parents be required, the corresponding number will be displayed on the screen in church so that the parents can meet a leader at the back of the church to go and see their child. As law requires, all leaders over the age of 18 are blue card holders. RevKids sponsors a Compassion child and an offering is taken up each Sunday. It is a very important part of our programme to give the children an understanding of those less fortunate; and generosity. We don't just teach Bible stories, but
Bible truths and life skills for our children to grow up with and enter the
world with a positive attitude and outlook on life, relying on God to guide
their steps. All kids are welcome! We offer four age appropriate programmes: Mini-Nova is a supervised creche' program for 0 - 2 years. Bright Stars is a programme for 3-5 year olds and is a set in a safe and welcoming environment catering specifically for the 3-4 year old age group. The programme is designed to stimulate and encourage the children to be involved throughout the morning. A light morning tea is provided. Children are required to be toilet trained to attend this programme. Orbit for Grades 1 - 3. A dynamic programme that has different themes throughout the year, reaching all learning styles of children. Galaxy is the program for Grades 4 - 7. All new children receive a visitors pack and a visitors ID lanyard. RevKids has fun-filled praise and worship, and a word that includes drama, object lessons and games. Children who have had a birthday through that week get to choose a prize from our prize box. A light morning tea is also provided.
